You are responsible for the content of your comment. The Concordiensis cannot moderate comments 24 hours a day; however, any comment that is posted can and will be deleted if it is found to be in violation of our comment policy. We reserve the right to delete comments in violation of our policy.
Everyone is welcome and encouraged to voice their opinion on our comment threads regardless of identity, political or ideological beliefs, sexuality, or religion.
Debate is welcome, as are differences of opinion— we are here to facilitate communication, speech and dialogue. The Concordiensis frequently publishes articles on controversial topics with the expectation that our readers will contribute equally controversial commentary. We pride ourselves on our active user base, but we also strive to create a healthy, engaging, informative and respectful conversation on our comment threads.
Though we welcome diverse viewpoints, we find the following to be in violation of our commenting policy:
- Profanity
- Racial or homophobic slurs
- Spam, including links to other inappropriate websites
- Name-calling
- Extreme or direct personal attacks
- Impersonation of someone else
The editors of the Concordiensis reserve the right to use their personal judgment and discretion to evaluate which comments are appropriate for deletion if found to be in violation of our policy.
